Pastor Darwin received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 1979, at the age of 18, and was baptized a few months later. He was called by God into ministry as a vocation in 1983.
His life verse is Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Having grown up in Gilbert Arizona, Pastor Darwin married his high school sweetheart, Linda. They are now celebrating 43+ years of marriage. Pastor Darwin and Linda are parents of 2 adult children, Matt, and Melissa, and have been blessed with a daughter-in-law Jill, a son-in-law Will, along with seven grandchildren: Kristen, Caleb, Carson, Sam, Abbie, Lilly, and Caroline.

Pastor Darwin has served local churches for the past 36 years – 10 years as a Student Pastor, and 26 years in a Senior Pastor role. In addition to his involvement with local churches, Pastor Darwin also has extensive experience working in senior living communities, providing spiritual care and support to hospice patients and their families.

Pastor Darwin received his undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University, Dallas, Texas in Business Administration, a Masters’ degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas in Christian Education, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky with a concentration in Leadership.

For rest and relaxation, Pastor Darwin enjoys jogging, hiking, swimming, spending time with grandkids, hosting family and friends in their home, watching sports, and being actively involved in the community where he and Linda live and serve.
